About Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China Memorial Hall
The patriotism education base - "Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China" was created in the Honggeyuan Natural Scenic Area of Xiayunling Forest Park in Beijing. It is adjacent to Shenglian Mountain Natural Scenic Area to the north, Yesanpo Scenic Area of Hebei Province to the west, Shidu Scenic Area across the mountain to the south, and Shihuadong Scenic Area to the east. The transportation is convenient, with National Highway 108 passing through it. During the Anti-Japanese War, the village was the frontier of the Pingxi Base Area, and it still completely preserves the site where Cao Martian composed his lyrics and music. In September 2019, it was named the “National Patriotic Education Demonstration Base” by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. On June 30, 2025, the memorial hall was officially opened to the public.
