About Yuxi City Nie Er Memorial Hall
Yuxi City Nie Er Memorial Hall is located at No. 118 Qiyang Road, Hongta District, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. Construction started in 2003, trial operation in May 2009, and official opening in July 2010. The main building complex has a total construction area of 37,000 square meters. It consists of the Nie Er Memorial Hall, the Nie Er Library and the teaching building of the University for the Elderly. It is open to the public free of charge. The venue has theme exhibition halls such as "Hurry but Eternal" and "Era Spreads the Splendor", which systematically displays the life story of the people's musician Nie Er and the creation process of "March of the Volunteers" through 1,100 pieces/set of cultural relics.
