About Beijing People's Art Theater Drama Museum
China's first drama museum. Located in the Capital Theater, No. 22 Wangfujing Street, Dongcheng District. Opened to the public on June 12, 2007. The construction area is 1360 square meters. The exhibition consists of the preface hall, the founder's memorial hall, the drama hall, the academic hall, the exchange hall, the theater and the audience hall, and the actor's artistic image gallery. As of the end of 2022, the museum has a collection of 76,000 pieces/set, and the total number of annual visitors is 3,048. It includes a number of important manuscripts, such as the precious handwriting and calligraphy of Guo Moruo, Lao She, Cao Yu, Shen Congwen and others, as well as precious materials left by Ye Zi, Zhu Lin, Zheng Rong, Ying Ruocheng and others.
