About Anning City Museum
Anning City Museum is a local comprehensive museum located at No. 122, Lianran Street, Anning City, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. The museum was completed and opened in October 2000. The building was renovated from the ancient buildings of the Anning Confucian Temple built in the Yuan Dynasty, a national key cultural relic protection unit. The museum has a rich collection, mainly derived from archaeological excavations of local tombs and social collections. As of 2022, the collection of cultural relics reaches 1,034 pieces/set, including important cultural relics such as bronze drums of the Western Han Dynasty and pottery figurines of the Tang Dynasty. The museum has a number of historical relics exhibition halls and stele galleries, which are open to the public free of charge all year round.
