About Tianjin Gege Mansion Collection Museum

Tianjin Gege Mansion Collection Museum is located at No. 30 Gulou South Street, Nankai District, Tianjin. It is the first private museum in Tianjin and was officially opened to the public in June 2009. The building is a typical Qing Dynasty house with two courtyards. It was the residence of Heshuo Gegeyu Deling in Tianjin during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The museum has exhibition areas for porcelain, calligraphy and painting, treasures, bronzes, living rooms, and miscellaneous items. The collection includes Ming and Qing porcelain, bronzes, calligraphy and painting, etc., and some of them are cultural relics returned from overseas. The museum is committed to the protection, research and development of national cultural heritage, and organizes exhibitions and educational activities.
