About Tianjin Enlightenment Society Memorial Hall
The Tianjin Awakening Society Memorial Hall is located in Sanjie Lane, Sanma Road, Zhouwei Road, Hebei District, Tianjin. It was built based on the former site of the Awakening Society. The old site was a small house composed of seven blue brick and wooden structure bungalows. It was opened to the public on September 16, 1984. In 1986, Deng Yingchao made a special trip to inspect the museum and inscribed a plaque. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit and a patriotism education base. On April 29, 2026, the Tianjin Awakening Society Memorial Hall reopened after renovations and upgrades.
