About Tianjin Machine Tool Industry Museum

The Tianjin Machine Tool Industry Museum is a special museum transformed by Tianjin TEDA Urban Comprehensive Development Investment Group on the basis of the old industrial factory building of the original Tianjin First Machine Tool Factory. It will be officially opened on May 16, 2025. The permanent exhibition area of the museum covers an area of more than 1,100 square meters. It has four major themes: the history and functions of machine tools, the memory of Tianjin machine tools, the story of the Eighteen Arhats, and the future of Chinese machine tools. It displays more than 40 machine tools, industrial objects, documentary images, and more than 300 exhibits. Among them, my country's first gear-driven C620 lathe is the treasure of the museum.
