About Guandu District Museum

Guandu District Museum is a state-owned museum located in Guandu Forest Park, Rixin Road, Guandu District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. It was established in 1984 and is responsible for the collection, exhibition, and protection and management of cultural relics. It is open for free from Tuesday to Sunday. According to information from the State Administration of Cultural Heritage in September 2020, the museum currently has a collection of 537 pieces/sets and 29 precious cultural relics/sets. In 2020, it held 2 exhibitions, carried out 15 educational activities, and received 155,800 visitors. In the same year, it invested 3.913 million yuan in the restoration of metal cultural relics in the collection and passed the national third-level museum assessment. In 2022, it will receive 18,000 visitors.
