About Weihai Museum

Weihai Museum is located at No. 73, Wenhua Middle Road, Weihai City, Shandong Province, with a construction area of 13,669 square meters, including an exhibition hall area of 7,221 square meters. It is a local comprehensive museum. In 1993, the Weihai Museum was established. The collection of cultural relics includes calligraphy and painting, ceramics, bronzes, ancient coins, lacquerware and other categories. As of the end of 2022, the museum has a collection of 13,989 pieces/set, 169 precious cultural relics/set, and a total annual audience of 340,000. On December 21, 2020, the China Museum Association released the fourth batch of national museum grading evaluation results, and Weihai Museum was rated as a national second-level museum.
