About Beijing Air and Space Museum 13
Beijing Air and Space Museum is located in Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, No. 37 Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing. It was established in 1985. It is China's first comprehensive science and technology museum of aerospace science and technology. It is an important part of the national aerospace experimental teaching demonstration center and an important base for aerospace science popularization and culture, Beihang spirit, youth patriotism and national defense education. The museum exhibition area is 8,300m2, and the building area is 15,000m2. The predecessor of the Beijing Aviation Museum was the aircraft showroom and hangar of the former fifth-series aircraft design teaching and research office of Beihang University.
