About Peking Union Medical College Hospital History Museum
The History Museum of Peking Union Medical College Hospital is located at No. 5 Xiaowei Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing. The new museum was opened on September 16, 2011, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Union Medical College. It is located opposite the west gate of the hospital. It initially has four exhibition halls with the themes of "The birth of Union Medical College, creating a model", "Weathering the wind and rain, moving forward with tenacity", "Carrying forward the past and pursuing excellence" and "Inheriting history and moving towards the future". In September 2016, the second phase of the "Chinese Dream·Concord Dream" theme hall of the Academy History Museum was officially opened. On September 16, 2021, in order to celebrate the centenary of the institute, the upgraded history museum of the institute reopened with 5 exhibition halls.
