About Chongqing Geleshan Revolution Memorial Hall
Chongqing Geleshan Revolutionary Memorial Hall is located at the foot of Geleshan in Shapingba District, Chongqing. It is affiliated to the Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History and Culture Center (Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum). It was established on November 27, 1963. It covers an area of 2.14 square kilometers and a construction area of 32,217 square meters. The museum is based on the former headquarters, radio station and prison of the "Military Command Bureau" during the Kuomintang rule. It includes 21 cultural relics and scenic spots such as Bai Gongguan, the former site of Zhazidong Detention Center, the tomb of the "11·27" martyrs, and the Hongyan Soul Exhibition Hall. The exhibition hall covers an area of 9,180 square meters.
