About Anhui Museum

Anhui Museum is a first-class public welfare institution directly under the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. It is also the only provincial-level comprehensive museum in Anhui Province that integrates nature, history, and social education. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, one of the first batch of national first-level museums, the third batch of "National Key Ancient Books Protection Units", and the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The Anhui Provincial Museum was completed and opened to the public on November 14, 1956. It was renamed Anhui Museum on December 28, 2010. It is the only provincial museum inspected by Chairman Mao. "Anhui Museum" uses Mao script as the signboard. Anhui Museum currently operates as one hospital and two museums. Luyang Museum (Old Museum) is located at No. 268 Anqing Road, Hefei City.
