About Tianjin Science and Technology Museum
The Tianjin Science and Technology Museum is a large-scale public welfare science popularization facility in Tianjin. It is located in the city's cultural center. It was officially opened to the public in 1995. In September 2008, the permanent exhibition hall was opened free of charge. The building area of the museum is 18,000 square meters, and the permanent exhibition hall is 10,000 square meters. It is divided into upper and lower floors. The permanent exhibition areas include multiple exhibition areas such as Discovery, Magnetism and Electricity, Mechanical Ingenuity, Flying Dream, Robot World, Dream World, etc. A total of more than 300 pieces (sets) of science popularization exhibits that are scientific, informative, interesting, and participatory are on display.
