Shenzhen feels like a city that’s constantly evolving. One minute I’m staring up at the Ping An Finance Center—tall, sleek, and futuristic—and the next I’m wandering a quiet alley with local food stalls. It’s not as historic as Beijing or as busy as Shanghai, but it has a unique energy: fast-paced but not overwhelming, modern but still warm. I loved how easy it is to get around—subways are fast and cheap, and locals are always happy to help with directions. It’s a city that feels like it’s reaching for the stars, but never forgets its human side.
