Shenzhen is unlike any city I’ve ever visited.

Shenzhen is unlike any city I’ve ever visited. It’s a perfect blend of modernity and tradition, tech and nature, hustle and relaxation. I spent my days exploring Window of the World, hiking Wutong Mountain (the tallest in Shenzhen, with stunning views), and wandering Splendid China Folk Village to learn about Chinese culture. My nights were spent eating street food, walking along Shenzhen Bay Park, and marveling at the skyline lights. The city is safe, easy to navigate, and full of surprises. It’s not the most famous Chinese city, but it’s one of the most exciting—full of life, innovation, and kind people. If you love exploring new, dynamic places, add Shenzhen to your China itinerary.
