Leshan Giant Buddha by boat or on foot 🗿 Two ways to see the 71 meter Buddha. Very different experiences. Boat option Boat takes about 30 minutes. Views of the full Buddha from the river. No stairs, no crowds on the boat. Perfect for those with limited time or mobility. Ticket 70 RMB. Walking option Entrance fee 80 RMB. Walk down the narrow cliffside stairs. Stand right next to the Buddha’s feet. Feels much more impressive. But prepare for queues. During holidays the stairs can take 2 hours just to go down and up. 💡 Best combo: arrive early, walk down first, then take a short river cruise after. Avoids the worst of the crowds.
