The Exhibition Hall of Crime Evidence of Japanese Army Unit 731 is located at No. 23 Xinjiang Street, Pingfang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. It is a heritage museum and was awarded the title of National First-Class Museum in May 2024. The new museum has a construction area of 9,997 square meters, an exhibition area of 4,500 square meters, and the open area of the core area of the old site is 250,000 square meters. The Crime Evidence Exhibition Hall of the 731st Unit of the Japanese Invading Army was officially included in the government’s protection and management track in 1982, and the new hall was officially opened to the public on August 15, 2015. As of December 2022, there are nearly 100,000 incriminating artifacts and historical materials in seven categories.
