About Natural history museum of guangxi

The Natural History Museum of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is an institution directly under the Department of Culture of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is listed as a national key museum by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. It is also one of the two provincial natural museums in the strategic region for the development of western my country. It is now a national science popularization education base. It has a collection of more than 30,000 natural specimens of plants, animals, rocks, minerals, and paleontological fossils. It is characterized by the collection, research and display of rich fossils of giant panda stegodon fauna, non-ferrous metal minerals and rare rare earth metal minerals, and rare animal and plant specimens such as white-headed langur, Yaoshan crocodile lizard, golden camellia, cypress, silver fir and so on.
