About China Dairy Museum

The China Dairy Museum is a dairy-themed museum proposed in 2000 by the China Dairy Industry Association and the China Dairy Dairy Association and funded by Bright Dairy. It was officially opened in November 2001. After being relocated and rebuilt in September 2025, it is now located at No. 2729 Wanyuan Road, Minhang District, Shanghai. The museum is open to the public free of charge and is open from 9:00 to 16:30 from Sunday to Friday (excluding national holidays). In 2004, as one of Shanghai's practical science popularization projects, the exhibition area was increased and transformed into a comprehensive museum of science popularization, literature and history. The museum was closed in 2009 due to site issues and reopened on August 8, 2012 after Bright Dairy completed its relocation and reconstruction. On September 27, 2025, the museum reopened.
