About Shanghai Metro Museum
The Shanghai Metro Museum is an urban rail transit theme museum located in the Vientiane City Business District, No. 1799-7, Wuzhong Road, Minhang District, Shanghai. It is adjacent to Ziteng Road Station of Metro Line 10. It has a construction area of 5,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 3,200 square meters. The museum was put into trial operation on October 28, 2014. In 2022, it was selected as a national science popularization education base and a national transportation science popularization base. With the theme of "Safety, Technology, Green, and Humanities", the museum displays the development history of the subway through historical documents, technological exhibits and interactive experiences.
