About Dong Qichang ChineseTradition Calligraphy and Painting ArtMuseum

The Dong Qichang Painting and Calligraphy Art Museum is a state-owned special museum affiliated with the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Songjiang District, Shanghai. It is also the first Dong Qichang special museum in the country. It is located in Zuibaichi Park, No. 64 Renmin South Road, Songjiang District. It was officially opened on December 25, 2018, with a construction area of 1,500 square meters (1,200 square meters of new area and 300 square meters of renovated historical buildings). It is open to the public free of charge. The museum has a collection of 236 pieces (sets) of calligraphy and painting works by Dong Qichang, Songjiang Painting School and Yunjian School of Calligraphy. It has a main exhibition hall and an exchange exhibition hall. It carries out calligraphy and painting research and exhibition activities all year round. Peng Yefeng is currently the curator.
