About Jiangxi Provincial Cultural Center

Jiangxi Provincial Cultural Center is a cultural building complex located at the core of Fenghuangzhou Area, Honggutan New District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It consists of the Jiangxi Provincial Museum, the Library, and the Science and Technology Museum. The project started construction in August 2016, covering an area of 199.4 acres, with a total construction area of 247,500 square meters, and a total investment of nearly 3 billion yuan. The main buildings are arranged from north to south to symbolize history, present and future respectively. The venues are connected through a 7-meter-high public platform to form an enclosed urban space. During the construction of the project, the main capping was completed in March 2018, and the decoration phase entered in May 2018. It was originally planned to be fully opened in October 2019.
