About Tengwang Pavilion Scenic Area,Nanchang 26

The Tengwang Pavilion Tourist Area in Nanchang City, often referred to as the Tengwang Pavilion Scenic Area, is a tourist attraction located within the Donghu District of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. The scenic area covers approximately 700 mu, with 90% of its grounds open to the public free of charge. Tengwang Pavilion was first built in the fourth year of the Yonghui era during the Tang Dynasty (653 AD), and it got its name from Prince Teng, Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Shimin. It also gained fame throughout later generations thanks to a line from the early Tang poet Wang Bo’s poem: “The falling rosy clouds fly together with the lone wild duck, and the autumn waters merge with the vast blue sky.
