About Nanchang Star Ferris Wheel 4

The Nanchang Star Ferris Wheel, also known as the Nanchang Star, is located in the Ganjiang Citizen Park along the banks of the Ganjiang River in Hongjiao Zhou, Honggutang District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. With a height of approximately 160 meters—higher than London’s London Eye in the UK— it was the world’s tallest ferris wheel when it was completed. Today, it ranks as the third-tallest ferris wheel in the world, after the Haokai Ferris Wheel (167 meters) and the Singapore Flyer (165 meters), and is the highest ferris wheel in China, serving as a landmark building in Nanchang. The Nanchang Star Ferris Wheel was designed by the Shanghai Branch of the National Institute of Coal Science Research.
