About Hulunbuir Natural Museum
Hulunbuir Nature Museum is one of the branches of Hulunbuir Museum. It is a comprehensive natural museum located in Xishan Nature Reserve, Hailar District, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, adjacent to Hailar National Forest Park. The museum has a total construction area of 16,646 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 7,000 square meters. It will be officially opened on October 3, 2025. Pre-opening operations have been carried out before, with nearly 30,000 visitors in the first month of opening. With the theme of "Ecological Picture Scroll of Northern Xinjiang, the Great Beauty of Hulunbuir", the museum has eight display units including ecology, geology and minerals, forests, insects, grasslands, wetlands, and snowfields.
