About Wang Yangming Memorial Hall
The Wang Yangming Memorial Hall is a special venue planned and constructed in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province to commemorate the Ming Dynasty thinker Wang Yangming. The preparation work has been promoted since 2019. Led by the Propaganda Department of the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, New Tourism, Qingyunpu District Government and Nanchang Water Investment Company participated in the construction. An exhibition planning meeting was held in July 2020, and the original plan was to be completed in June 2021. As of October 2023, the memorial hall is still in the site selection and advancement stage and has not yet been completed. The museum is based on the historical connection between Nanchang and Wang Yangming: Wang Yangming once put down the rebellion of Ning Wang Zhu Chenhao here.
