About East Lake Plaza
East Lake Plaza is a large urban cultural square located on Gangkang Road, Pengjiang District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province. The main body, East Lake Park, was built in 1958. It covers an area of about 53 hectares, including a 16.5-hectare lake. With lakes and mountains as the core ecological landscape, it is equipped with five-arch bridges, stacked water waterfalls, cruise ships and other facilities. The night lighting system forms a characteristic night scene. Bus stations, hotels and dining venues are located around the square, and many bus lines pass through the area. There is a literary and artistic stage in East Lake Square. East Lake Park was opened to the public in 1963. In 1974, the park started another wave of construction. On New Year's Day 2000, the East Lake Square and Musical Fountain were completed and opened.
