About Window of the World
Shenzhen Window of the World is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China. It is a large-scale cultural tourist attraction, a miniature scenic spot, and a man-made theme park that integrates world wonders, historical relics, ancient and modern scenic spots, and folk song and dance performances. It covers an area of 480,000 square meters and was jointly invested and constructed by China Tourism Group Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Co., Ltd. In July 1991, the construction of Shenzhen Window of the World began; on June 18, 1994, the park was completed and opened. Shenzhen Window of the World Scenic Area is divided into eight theme areas: World Square, Asia Area, America Area, Africa Area, Oceania Area, Europe Area, Sculpture Garden and International Street.
