About Guiyang Forest Wildlife Park
Guizhou Forest Wildlife Park (referred to as: Guiye) is a key municipal eco-tourism project approved by the Guizhou Provincial Forestry Department in 2001 and approved by Guiyang Pan-Pearl River Delta Investment Promotion in 2004. It is invested and operated by Yunnan Yinlida Industrial Co., Ltd. The zoo is located in the Lengshuigou branch of the state-owned Zazuo Forest Farm in Zazuo Town, Xiuwen County, Guiyang City. It is located next to the Sichuan-Guizhou Railway and at the intersection of Guizun and Guibi highways. It is 35 kilometers away from Guiyang. It covers an area of 5,800 acres and has a total investment of more than one billion yuan. It was put into trial operation in May 2006 and officially opened in October of the same year.
