About Gao Jian-fu Memorial Hall
Gao Jianfu Memorial Hall is located on the first floor of No. 861 Jiefang North Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, with a construction area of 1,148.5 square meters. It is a special memorial hall for social science celebrities in Guangzhou. The museum has an exhibition hall on the first floor and the restored site of Chunsui Painting Academy on the 14th floor, including an exhibition hall of Gao Jianfu's works, a reception office area and an art life exhibition area. The opening hours are from 9:00 to 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday (except statutory holidays and special circumstances). The original site of the museum was the Chunsui Painting Academy founded by Gao Jianfu in 1923. In 1989, his relatives donated the property at the old site to the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government. In 1993, the Guangzhou Art Museum restored the old site and built the museum.
