About Plum Blossom Valley
Meihua Valley is located at the southern foot of Zijin Mountain in Xuanwu District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, and serves as a core attraction within the Zhongshan Scenic Area, a national 5A-level tourist destination and the site of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. It was developed by expanding upon the original Meihua Mountain, which stretches continuously with Meihua Mountain; together, the two areas cover a total area of 1,533 mu, home to over 30,000 plum trees of more than 330 different varieties. The history of plum cultivation in Nanjing can be traced back to the Six Dynasties period. Within Meihua Valley, attractions such as Meihua Zhuangyun, Yanque Lake, and Tai Xiang Zhaoming are built to embody the cultural heritage of the Six Dynasties and the Ming Dynasty.
