About Zhuhai Guyuan Art Museum
Zhuhai Gu Yuan Art Museum is the first public welfare municipal art museum in Zhuhai named after the artist Gu Yuan. It is located at No. 388 Meihua East Road, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00 (admission is closed at 16:30). It is closed on Mondays. The museum has been completed and opened since January 2008. In 2020, the museum will be closed due to renovation and expansion construction. The opening ceremony of the new museum will be held on August 5, 2024, and it will be officially opened to the public on August 9 of the same year. Based on the original building, the new building was renovated and expanded using the idea of "retaining the two wings, transforming the center, and expanding the rear". The total construction area increased from the original 8,181 square meters to 20,005 square meters.
