About Yichang Art Gallery
Yichang Art Museum is an institution directly under the Yichang Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, responsible for the creation, exhibition and research of calligraphy and painting. The museum will start construction as a key municipal cultural landmark in December 2022, with a construction area of about 30,000 square meters. It will be located at the intersection of the three rivers of Xiaxiba Island and adopt a green and low-carbon design in the shape of clouds. It is expected to be fully completed in October 2024. The institution promotes art exchanges by planning collection exhibitions, regional art exhibitions and other activities, and at the same time carries out art collections, storage and academic research.
