About Museum of Art Pudong
Pudong Art Museum (MAP) is a public art museum located in the core area of Lujiazui Riverside, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. It is invested, constructed and operated by Shanghai Lujiazui (Group) Co., Ltd., and the operating entity is Shanghai Pudong Art Museum Management Co., Ltd. It will officially open to the public on July 8, 2021. The address is located at No. 2777 Binjiang Avenue, Pudong New District, Shanghai. The museum was designed by Pritzker Prize winner and French architect Jean Nouvel. The building itself combines geometric aesthetics and suprematism. It has 13 exhibition halls including the characteristic mirror hall and the central exhibition hall X. The art museum covers an area of 13,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 40,000 square meters and an exhibition area of more than 10,000 square meters. It is positioned as an art exhibition and exchange platform.
