About Jiaoheyi·Karezjingyuan

Jiaoheyi·Karezjingyuan is a 3A-level tourist attraction located at No. 8 Karez Road, Gaochang District, Turpan City, Xinjiang (opposite the former Uni-President Tourism Ticketing Center). It covers an area of 126 acres and was built with an investment of 175 million yuan by Shanshan Holding Group. It opened on a trial basis on July 28, 2017. The scenic spot is open all year round. The opening hours are from 08:30 to 20:00 from April 1 to November 30, and from 09:30 to 19:30 from December 1 to March 31 of the following year. Children, the elderly, the disabled and military personnel can enjoy preferential ticket policies. The scenic area is centered on the restoration of the historical scenes of Jiaohe Station in the Tang Dynasty. It has facilities such as the Karez source sightseeing area and the meeting hall of the station. It preserves the "Kochik Aji" karez built 570 years ago.
