About Grape Valley Scenic Area
Dishui Grape Valley is a scenic spot located in the Flame Mountain Canyon in Turpan City, Xinjiang. It is about 15 kilometers away from the urban area, about 0.5 kilometers wide, and about 8 kilometers long from north to south. There are about 6,000 people of three ethnic groups, Uyghur, Hui and Han, living in the area. There are more than 400 hectares of cultivated land and more than 220 hectares of grape planting area. The valley is in sharp contrast to the external landscape of the Flame Mountain. In the valley, streams and springs are intertwined, and there are dense grape fields, mulberry, peach, apricot, apple, pomegranate, pear, fig, walnut and other fruit trees, as well as elm, poplar, willow, locust and other trees, presenting the style of "a hundred gardens" and "a hundred orchards".
