About Loulan Winery
The Loulan Winery Scenic Area is located in Shanshan County, Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Formerly known as the Shanshan County Wine Factory established in 1976, it was reorganized in 2007 and renamed Turpan Loulan Winery Co., Ltd. in 2016. The scenic area covers 590 mu and integrates grape cultivation, winemaking, cultural experiences, and sightseeing tourism, blending Silk Road culture with the civilization of Loulan. In 2022, it was selected as a National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Base, and in 2023, it was awarded a National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction. Loulan Winery features facilities such as a cultural center, underground wine cellars, and a wine museum, and has developed four major themed products: “Loving Loulan” and “Foodie Loulan.
