About National urban wetland park of Huaxi,Guiyang
Guiyang Huaxi National Urban Wetland Park is located in the northern part of the central urban area of Guiyang’s Huaxi District, just 12 kilometers from the city center. It was approved as one of the sixth batch of National Urban Wetland Parks by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in December 2009. Guiyang Huaxi National Urban Wetland Park is Guizhou Province’s first National Urban Wetland Park, with an average elevation of 1,140 meters and an annual average temperature of 14.9°C. It experiences mild winters without extreme cold and hot summers without scorching heat, featuring a temperate, humid climate and fresh, pleasant air—earning it the reputation of an ecological “big oxygen bar” and a natural “big air conditioner.
