About Nanming Jiaxiu Building

Jiaxiu Tower is located on Aoji Stone by Nanming River in Nanming District, Guiyang City. It was first built in the 26th year of the Wanli reign during the Ming Dynasty (1597 AD), and later destroyed and rebuilt repeatedly. The existing structure was reconstructed in the first year of the Xuantong reign (1909). During the Qing Dynasty, “Aofan Floating Jade” was designated as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Guiyang. It is now listed as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
