Yunyan District is one of the urban districts of Guiyang City. As of November 2020, its permanent population stood at 1.057 million. Yunyan District is one of Guiyang’s economically strong districts. In 2003, the district’s gross domestic product exceeded RMB 10 billion, ranking as the highest in Guizhou Province.
