Huangling Scenic Area in Shangrao City, also known as Wuyuan Huangling Scenic Area and abbreviated as the Huangling Scenic Area, is a tourist attraction located within the borders of Huangling Village, Jiangwan Town, Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. The scenic area covers an area of 7.8 square kilometers. Huangling Scenic Area is a unique ancient village with a nearly 600-year history, showcasing the Huizhou architectural style. Backed by Shier Mountain, it is surrounded by thousands of ancient trees and embraced by tens of thousands of mu of terraced fields. The distinctive topography of Huangling Village—where “not even three feet of flat land exists”—has given rise to a well-structured, layered village layout that is both orderly and harmonious.
