About Damiaojiang Ecological Tourism Scenic Spot in Shanglin County
The Damaojiang Ecological Tourism Scenic Area is located in Liulian Village, Xiangxian Town, Shanglin County, at the northeastern foot of the Daming Mountain Nature Reserve. It is approximately 40 kilometers from Nanning’s urban center. The second phase of the planned Nanliu Expressway, which features an exit in Xiangxian Town, is about 6 kilometers away from the scenic area, while the western exit of the Sanan Expressway in Binyang is approximately 12 kilometers away. Relying on the natural canyons within the Damaojiang River basin, the ten-thousand-mu bamboo forest, and ancient villages, the scenic area has developed a cultural tourism and health & wellness complex that includes activities such as rafting, mountain off-road adventures, and hot spring wellness treatments. As a national AAAA-level scenic area, its forest rafting project spans 4.8 kilometers with a drop of 126 meters.
