About Furen Lake, Shanglin County

Shanglin County is a county under the administration of Nanning City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is known as the “Hometown of the Zhuang People” and “Southern Nanning’s Garden.” With a total area of 1,876 square kilometers, it received the “China Longevity Town – Shanglin, Guangxi” plaque and certificate on December 28, 2012, awarded by the Chinese Society of Gerontology. On May 20, 2019, the United Nations’ official body, the UN Department for Policy Coordination on Aging, officially conferred upon Shanglin County the honorary title of “World Longevity Town” at a ceremony held in Malta. The People’s Government of the County is located in Dafeng Town.
