About Drip Water Dan Screen
Dishui Danping is located on the southern shore of Dishui Village on Weizhou Island, originally known as Dishui Rock. The upper part of the sheer cliff is shaded by lush green trees, and water often gushes out from the cracks between the layers of the rock, dripping down in tiny streams like a hanging red curtain. Due to marine erosion, the surface of the rock resembles a giant, side‑viewed “human head” with eyes, a nose, a mouth, and hair (though it has now collapsed), offering breathtaking scenery. The beach at Dishui Danping is excellent; the sand near the water’s edge is extremely fine, covered in fragmented coral, and further along the shore lies a pine forest. Many people come here to swim—sometimes jumping up and down with the waves, sometimes floating on the surface.
