About Memorial Hall of Deng Shi-chang
The Deng Shichang Memorial Hall (Haizhu Museum) is located at No. 2, Longxiuli, Baogang Avenue, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province (inside the Deng Ancestral Hall). It is adjacent to the Haizhu District Government in the east, Deng Shichang Memorial Primary School in the south, and the historic Haizhuang Park in the north. The total construction area is 5,700 square meters and the floor area is 4,700 square meters. In the 14th year of Daoguang's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1834), the Deng Shichang Ancestral Hall was built. In August 1994, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Deng Shichang's martyrdom, the Central Propaganda Department officially approved the establishment of the Deng Shichang Memorial Hall in the Deng Ancestral Hall.
