About Guangzhou Metro Museum
Guangzhou Metro Museum is located on the negative first to second floors of the podium of Tower C of Wansheng Plaza on the south side of Exit A of Wanshengwei Station, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City. It has a construction area of 4,400 square meters and an exhibition area of about 3,600 square meters. It opened on December 20, 2016. The exhibition area is distributed on three floors. The first floor below is an exhibition area for Guangzhou’s geological conditions and subway construction process; the first floor is an exhibition area for the rail transit industry and Guangzhou’s subway development history; and the second floor is a subway operation safety experience area. Guangzhou Metro Museum, an AAA-level attraction, is one of the "2015-2016 Social and Livelihood Infrastructure Construction Projects" led by the Guangzhou Municipal Government and constructed by Guangzhou Metro Group.
