About Guangdong Science Center
Guangdong Science Center is a large-scale comprehensive science popularization venue in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It is located at No. 168 Kepu Road, Panyu District, Guangzhou City. It borders the Pearl River to the south and north, Binjiang Ecological Park to the west, and Guangzhou University City Outer Ring Road to the east. It was approved for construction in 1997, and the foundation stone was laid on March 28, 2004. It was completed and opened to the public on September 26, 2008. The Guangdong Science Center has four major functions: science education, scientific and technological achievements display, international academic exchanges and science tourism. It is an important window for the display of scientific and technological achievements in Guangdong Province and the city card of Guangzhou.
