About Erlitou Site Museum Of the Xia Capital
Erlitou Site Museum Of the Xia Capital, a national first-class museum, was founded on June 11, 2017 and completed on October 19, 2019. It is located at No. 1, Zhenu Avenue, Yanshi District, Luoyang City, Henan Province, covering an area of 246 acres and a construction area of 32,000 square meters. It includes four parts: public area, business area, administrative area and early China research center. It is a national demonstration area for the protection, display and utilization of major heritage sites, a research and display center on the formation and development of early Chinese states, and a research and display base for the Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasty Project and the Chinese Civilization Origin Discovery Project.
