About Guizhou Geological Museum
Guizhou Geological Museum, a national first-class museum, is located at the intersection of Yuntan South Road and Xingzhu Road, Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City. It covers an area of 40,000 square meters. Construction started in 2015 and the main body was completed in 2019. It will officially open at 8:30 on August 14, 2021. The Guizhou Provincial Geological Museum is a building whose appearance combines elements such as Fanjing Mountain, mushroom stones, the Chinese Pinyin abbreviation "GZ" and Guizhou's terraced landforms, adding a new landmark to Guiyang City. It will be put into trial operation at the end of January 2021. The public can then go to the venue to see rare geological treasures such as paleontological fossils and mineral resources.
